At the start of winter, the Triple ‘C’ Days dynamic made its’ presence felt with Calm, Cold and Cloudy conditions driving spot prices to extreme levels and therefore impacting the forward market. During August, some hot weather arrived in Queensland and then over the last 2-weeks, the NEM is being smashed by extreme winds and driving rain.
